Plot
 Exposition
It all started as the wife was tidying up the finishing touches in her living
room. The stranger, claiming to be the new husband, enters, and she is
confused and terrified of what is going on.
 Rising action
The stranger "husband" never backs down in the face of her threats to
report him to the police because he is so determined to convince her to change
her mind. He does things for her during the course of the scene that her
husband has never done, such as reading her a poem he wrote and giving her
flowers. Her perception of her husband is altered as a result of these behaviors
and the attributes he lacks. In the end, she has a total change of heart and
decides to accept him as her spouse.
 Climax
When the stranger finally convinces the mother and wins the two kids’ hearts, he
then smiled widely. Then, the mother throws the flower and decides to do something
with him that the couple usually does. As they tried to do something, the first husband
came home with a shock on his face as he saw his wife with a stranger. He asked his
wife what was going on, and then the new husband explained to him what they were
trying to do. The first husband tries to call the police when the wife asks for the key and
tells him that the guy on her side is replacing him as her new husband.
 Falling action
Vicky and her brother rebuffed the father's best efforts to convince them to
accompany him out of their house. Instead, they treated their father like a dog rather than
with compassion. The two youngsters were thrilled to have complete freedom. Vicky
and her brother's parents explained to the new spouse that they now had duties and
obligations as their offspring. Unfortunately, her new husband rejected the mother's
advice, telling her that, like with his former wife, he doesn't want any responsibility.
 Denouement
At the end of the story, the stranger who claimed to be the new husband screamed
that he wants a new life after the fact that he is going to have a responsibilities and
obligations if he pursues to be part of their family. He doesn’t want to have any
responsibilities and obligations. Therefore, he then is going to find a new life that doesn’t
give him responsibilities, but only an enjoying life.
