I made this layout for my ideal classroom because I think that this layout will provide
students with the best environment to learn. I have the computer and reading center on the right
side of the classroom. I think just an area where they can go on the computers or pick up a book
and read on the comfortable rug will create an environment where they feel like that area is a
safe space to explore and learn on their own. I then have the student desks and white board on
the other side of the room, this is where I'll be teaching them the curriculum and we will be doing
hands-on learning. The desk is in the back so there is no distraction from me or students who
may come up and have questions. I will also have a class pet to help teach the kids about
responsibility.
