II. LEARNING INSIGHT

This month I have observed the sudden decrease and low accomplishment of booster dose vaccination
due to PRDD socmed viral message that created doubtful insights towards booster vaccination.
On the other hand, Resbakuna kids launching was overwhelmingly participated by different partner
agencies, parents and their children.
As a healthworker implementer re-iteration of protection, prevention and promotion has always been
our language for them to better understand the health risk if not vaccinated.
III. ISSUES AND CONCERN

Low booster accomplishment due to  Re-IEC during FDS,barangay I hope PRDD will conduct another
PRDD message on socmed regarding sessions message to fellow Filipinos to have their
booster shot.  Referred to MHO jabs done especially booster shot.

II. LEARNING INSIGHT
This month I have observed that vaccination works to all. There may be sudden surge of positive
cases however symptoms are just common flu to those who experienced it. Also,mortality and
icu cases on hospitals have decreased. This is a living testimony that vaccine works and as a
health worker let us continue vaccination progress so that we can continue life in its best.

V. LEARNING INSIGHT
When” NO” is turning Yes.Previous months, I found difficulties in achieving a numerous vaccinees to be
vaccinated because of their negative attitude and opinion towards covid19 vaccination until, one day,
Pfizer came in eventually vaccinees keep pouring on and on.
Along with this is a dramatic decline of positive cases. As I have observed, vaccine hesitancy decreases
while general population wanting to get vaccinated is increasing. With this, I believe that all of our IEC
and encouragement to the community, being the best debatee and the best health worker can be is all
paying off. It’s all worth it. Congratulations to all of us!

V. LEARNING INSIGHT
This month I have observed that vaccination works to all. There may be sudden surge of positive
cases however symptoms are just common flu to those who experienced it. Also,mortality and
icu cases on hospitals have decreased. This is a living testimony that vaccine works and as a
health worker let us continue vaccination progress so that we can continue life in its best.

VIII. LEARNING INSIGHT
It’s quite frustrating that some individuals or most individuals misunderstood while they were on
isolation, on why we include philhealth number during case investigation process. Some were able to
post it on social media that “ kaya kinukuha ang philhealth number ay malaki ang kickback nila.” It’s
disgusting.
Some of our kakailyan are bully. Truly, little knowledge is dangerous. So as a community nurse, I keep my
pace being calm explaining their why’s and what into a more detailed elaboration. Sometimes, it takes
time for them to understand so gather yourself and explain further when necessary.

XI. LEARNING INSIGHT
This month, delta variant is increases while the number of covid19 infection are overwhelmingly
stunning each day. As a result of surge of covid19 patient, individuals having illnesses are afraid to
consult a physician and the tendency of worsening their health problems is increasing. The sudden
increase of “NO CONSULTATION” to a health practitioner and making it a “SECRET” among them leads to
worsening their underlying diseases and other illnesses. This is the reason why mortality is up casing in
the municipality because of the stigma of this pandemic.
As an approach to our catchment areas, we keep on reminding the community to visit us or consult a
doctor whenever something is felt different. This is to avoid the worsening, possible death and to further
manage or treatment will be given. We keep reiterating that early detection improves prognosis.End.

XIV. LEARNING INSIGHT
Last month, I had an insight on how people reacted to vaccination progress and their eagerness to
participate to get vaccinated however to them it seems like they wanted it soonest as possible.
Apparently, the government is on purchase of vaccines to be inoculated. Prioritization is a must to follow
so that the vulnerable groups will be vaccinated as soon as possible and that is a brilliant strategic way of
the government to protect the vulnerable individuals.
This month, during the conduct of resbakuna i found out that there is a sudden increase of hypertensive
clients. To me, as a health worker it is a good avenue to assess, monitor and re-evaluate the health
condition of both the NCD clients and the non ncd’s. Along with this, I conducted iec on non-
communicable diseases such diabetes and hypertension while some of them were referred to mho for
further work ups and evalaution to justify their unhealthy conditions. To me, early detection improves
prognosis. End.

XVII. LEARNING INSIGHT
Social media help us in this endeavor to inoculate vaccines. A simple post to facebook newsfeed is a simple
advertisement of vaccination progress and would likely the viewer do the same thing to themselves.
This month, I have observed that the allocation of vaccines is insufficient due to upsurge of individuals not in
the priority list. The good thing I’ve seen is the overwhelming increase of individuals needing to get
vaccinated. However, allocations are insufficient which turned out that the government is not doing its job
to protect its people. And now, as a health worker we are being pressed into their WHYs- why is the
allocation is insufficient and why there is prioritation when infact covid chooses no age priority to infect?
And as a repetitive answer of “Ma’am, urayen tayo ti next allocation ta GIDA lang gamin paylaeng ti naikkan
or ma’am A2 ken A3 pay laeng gamin ti priority tayo ta isuda iti mas agkelangan ti bakuna ta nababbaba t

XX. LEARNING INSIGHT
Support system is one of the factor needs to anticipate when someone is in distress, sick or troubled. As one
of among the Covid19 survivor and warrior it has been a wake up call to my being and to my family since
most of us got infected. I have been worried to my mom since she has the most severe symptoms felt and
experienced. Her mental health was also challenged during her isolation process from the hospital. She got
emotional and cries like a toddler with bargaining attitude. Literally, there was a time when I’m about to ask
why to our God but I know God will not allow to happen this for nothing. Families and friends reached her
inbox. At a gradual basis, my mom realized the positivity and the message God wants to tell her.
Well, yes,absolutely! Support system can and could possibly heals the weak in spirit. It can bring someone
realize a matter of positivity and strengthen their mental as well as physical vibes. So, as a health worker let
us try to reach out our people,friends,families and try sending them a simple message of hope. We may not
know how those messages could brighten up their day.

AS an old saying goes,”little knowledge is dangerous.”
Others, still believe that when you’re experiencing cough and colds and when brought to hospital
might be diagnosed with COVID19. T’was an old belief,a myth of this pandemic. It really shows that
sometimes and most often fake news is greater than real ones. This is one among a hundredths belief of
individuals I met every day. I do the IEC, talked to them and elaborated every inch of Covid19 assessment
and the test behind a positive result of COVID19.
Certainly YES, little knowledge is dangerous.

XXVI. LEARNING INSIGHT
During our conduct of individual IEC’s previous months to present, I have observed a preset minded of all
those individuals are doubtful, confused minded and misunderstoodthe ongoing resbakuna vaccination. Sabi
nila sabi nila is a strong evidence of doubts and fears. The media blast covid19 coverage news is creating
fear and unstable knowledge to those who are watching the news. As a living testimony, we used ourselves
to erase the fears in their minds and to create a greater more confident and stronger evidence based IEC
and a living testimony that our resbakuna is safe to everyone.
Continuously, the poor acceptance and denial actuations of each person we encouraged for vaccination
progressively put us into disappointments. However, we continued our iec on house to house basis and
individually.
FORTUNATELY, our iec recorded a productive and successful impact. Senior citizens and individuals came on
and voluntarily submitted themselves for resbakuna and the allotted vaccines to our municipality is not
enough. Numerous individuals wants to be vaccinated.
Like the army says”no pain,no gain! So,whether others may seems to be confused,undecided and fearful,
most likely, feed their minds with the positive side and its benefits.

XXIX. LEARNING INSIGHT
As for this month,COVID19 vaccination therapeutically creating pressure to all of us as a health worker
and a as protector of our own self and families. We have modeled ourselves during the premier of corona virus
vaccination to convince everyone that vaccination is safe. That everyone should fear less. For me, this is a good indicator
of pressing their thought confusion into more realistic imagination and real actual setting considering the limited vaccine
allotment. This is a good health marketing strategy.
Our previous resbakuna vaccination exceeded our target which made us proud as a health workers of Rizal. Ending this
pandemic soonest is our ultimate goal at this times. So, to continue the most numbered target let us use our selves as a
living testimony that this vaccine will help prevent corona virus and will not kill us rather helps us to be more safe and
comfortable living in a corona free community.

Confusing BIR tax. Raised querry to BIR staff. May we ask for a clearer answer of our BIR

virus.
