I have learned about: I learned about the universal health care coverage which consists of population coverage, service coverage, and financial coverage. I also learned details about Social Security System, that government owned and controlled corporation mandated to provide social protection to its members and the categories of the SSS members like self-employed, voluntary, OFW, non-working spouse. Knowing about this will help me: Knowing about this will help me because SSS provides better benefits packages, coverage expansion, and the option for flexible investments and knowing this it can help me in my future with SSS, private employees are protected against disability, old age, sickness, and death. I can depend on the SSS to provide financial support and assistance whether in the form of cash allowances, pensions, or loans in times of emergencies or life's contingencies. This topic reminds me of: This topic reminds me of applying for SSS back when I was working as a cashier in a bar, it was not easy to be a member if the management you apply does not provide it for you, I applied in a small business that is why I solely handled it myself.
