Reflection on the Attainment of the
Program Outcomes Program Outcomes During the Activity 1. Demonstrate clinical competence All of the groups during the demo of communication skills seem to have reflected the proper way of patient communication. I was thrilled to see how other groups tried to make their own plot, how they acted, and how they took and edited their videos. All are fun to watch. 2. Communicate effectively Each group must’ve been communicating effectively. I can see by the way they had time to go to some places to shoot, how we have different plots despite having the same case. 3. Lead and manage health care teams In our group, we had someone type the parts to be done and all the clerks who would voluntarily do the work would just enter the scripts accordingly. Then the remaining clerks will recheck the flow of the script. Those who have editing skills and camera did the video. 4. Engage in research activities I guess I could count the part where the groups made different plots with the different sources or causes of STIs. 5. Collaborate within interprofessional teams For the videos to end with such quality, research team, script team, and videography team must collaborate perfectly. I think in our group we did that just fine. 6. Utilize systems-based approach to health As a group, we did our best to be care systematized as possible.
7. Engage in continuing personal and Through the return demonstration, we had
professional development the chance to revisit our patient encounters and see which part of effective communication should we enhance. For me, I must enhance my probing and attentive silence. 8. Adhere to ethical, professional, and legal By practicing proper communication skills, we standards get to learn how to conduct ourselves in front of our patients. It teaches us to act professionally no matter how agitated our patient may be or to be patient when our patient’s story is too long. 9. Demonstrate nationalism, internationalism In this activity, I learned that being able to and dedication to service show compassion through communication means a lot to patents. 10. Practice the principles of social All in all, everyone got to show their own accountability understanding of proper communication.
