The Pixel pattern and Pixel pattern size settings are used to create bold text. By increasing
the number of dots in the Pixel pattern and the Pixel Pattern Size in millimeters, bolder text
can be created.

Overview
Settings menus
There are several types of settings that can be modified. These instructions provide
information on how to modify settings and save the modifications.
Advanced profile level is required to access the Settings menus.

A Parent/ Child network allows a common job to be selected over a network of printers
from the user interface of a single printer, known as the “parent.” Each printer connected
to the parent in the Parent/ Child network is known as a “child.”
All printers in the Parent/ Child network require a controller (with user interface) and head.
The IP addresses of children are configured from the parent printer using the Network
Connectivity / Parent/ Child menu.

The lens is typically set during installation. However, if an application requires a different
lens, the lens selected in the Head menu will need to be changed to match the actual lens.
The correct lens must be selected so that the text size of the printed image will be correct.
A fault will occur if no lens is set.

The Shift code value, starting time, and duration interval can only be defined or
modified in the Tools / Settings / Job / Shift code menu.

the attributes and placement of the Shift code can be defined or modified.

of the next shift.
A Shift code field can be inserted into a job when creating or modifying the job. The font
or attributes of the Shift code field can be changed within the job.

Date rollover
Rollover settings can be set globally for all jobs from the Tools menu.
The Date rollover screen is used to specify when the date will change in a job that has
a date field.

The Custom Date and Time screen is used to define custom date and time codes in a
job that has a Custom Date field. Custom Date codes are preceded by an asterisk (*) in
the drop-down list box when adding a Date or Time field to a job.

The Calendar screen is used to create customized calendars for use in a job that has a
Calendar in a Date field.

pre-defined.

The user interface alerts the user to the presence of a warning or fault
by displaying a screen.
If there is more than one warning, the list is sorted by date and time, with the most
recent event being at the top of the list:

status changes to “Aborted”, and printing cannot continue until the problem is
corrected.
