Trouble shooting for E65 & E66

Error introduction
Error E65 and E66 are UCMP faults, which will occur with software version 18.00
and above. You can check the software version by FA-05 parameter.

Error trouble shooting

Error 65: UCMP error

Steps :
1. Change the elevator to inspection mode.
2. Press the “RESET” button of keypad (MDKE) to rest E65.
3. Change the parameter F8-19 bit 9 from1 to 0 , in order to disable UCMP function.
4. Then change elevator from inspection mode back to auto mode.
Error trouble shooting
Error 66: brake force test error
The error cannot reset, need do brake force test again, if pass the test, no error. If not, the
system still show E66.

Steps :
1. Change the elevator to inspection mode.
2. Use the keypad of MCB(main control board), 3 black button(PRG,UP, SET) to set F8=8. The
system will close the door and do brake force test again.
3. The parameter F7-09 will show test result : 0 means no function, 1 means pass the test, 2
means did not pass the test.
4. In order to pass the test, you can try to change the following parameters:
F2-38: value of test torques (0 ~ 150% of motor rated torques)
0 means 80% of rated motor torques. If cannot pass test, try to reduce the value and
do the test again.
F2-39: test pulse of encoder feedback(0~20 encoder feedback pulses)
0 means 3 encoder feedback pulses. If can not pass test, please try to increase the value
and do the test again.
5. Change the parameter F8-19 bit 8 from1 to 0 , in order to disable brake force test function.
6. Then change elevator from inspection mode back to auto mode.
