True or False.

1. Linear bus is one type of network topology.

2.A star topology is the one in which each peripheral node connected to a central.
3. A tree topology is a hybrid network resulting from the combination of a ring
topology and a mesch topology.
4.A WAN network is coverage with a predefined limit.

Network topology is usually a schematic description of the arrangement of a network,

including its nodes and connecting lines. There are two ways of defining network
geometry: the physical topology and the logical (or signal) topology. Physical
topology describes where the network's various components like its devices and
cables are placed and installed, while logical topology explains the network's
information (data) flow and transmission, apart from physical design. Distances
between nodes, physical interconnections, transmission rates, and/or signal types
may differ between two networks, yet their topologies may be identical.

1.What type of topology explains a network's information flow and transmission?

2.Can the distances between the nodes be different?

Match with the correct option.

1. Point to point
2. Ring
3. LAN
4. Networking Devices

A. Provide users with a connection to the network, through which users share,
create, and obtain information.
B. Is designed to give direct and dedicated communications between the two
endpoints.
C. Is similar to a daisy chain topology but with the loop closed.
D. Communications network built by interconnecting nodes using cables or wireless
means that operate through media access software.
