You are going to see images of five cities and their landmarks. Write a
paragraph describing each city and country it belongs and the landmark shown.
Use the vocabulary from the box for the descriptions. The first one is done for
you as an example. / A continuación verá imágenes de cinco ciudades y sus
lugares representativos. Escriba un párrafo describiendo cada ciudad, el país al

New York is a big city in the

United States (North
America). It takes thousand
of visitors every year. The city
has a population of around 8
million people. There is a lot
to see and do in New York.
You can visit the Central
Park, the Metropolian
museum and Time’s Square.
In the picture you can see the
Statue of Liberty, a monumet
built between 1875 and 1986.
It is 93 meters tall. The statue

 Rome is the capital of Italy. The
City has a population of around
2.9 million residents. In Italy,
you cand find The grand canal
of venice where you can ride
boats. Rome has a lot of
traditional building. In the

Peter's Square, a plaza in front
of the cathedral a.k.a. St
Peter'sBasílica. At the center of
the Square is an Egyptian
obelisk.

Sydney is the most populous

City in Australia. It's located on
Australia's east coast. In the
picture you can see The
SydneyOpera House. The
building occupy the whole of
Bennelong Point in Sydney
Harbour. This building was
opened un 1973 and it became
a UNESCO World heritage site
in 2007. More than eight million
People visit the site each year.

Edinburgh is the capital City of

Scotland, and It is the second
most populous City in Scotland.
The City has long been known
as a centre of education,
particulary in the fields of
medicine. Scotland has a lot of
Mountains and hills to People
who likes to go hiking. In the
Edinburgh Castle. It is a historic
fortress which dominates the
skyline of the City of Edinburgh.

 Dubai is the most populous City
in AUE. The City has a lot of
moderan buildings. Dubai is
located in the Arabian Dessert.
In the picture you can see The
Burj Khalifa a.k.a Khalifa Tower.
It is the skyscraper around the
World. Outside was designed
byAdrián Smith and the building
has received many awards.
