PERSONNAL ESSAY

“Learning is a lifelong process” is one of the most famous lines when we talk about

personal development and enhancement. This line also emphasizes that learning is a personal

goal, commitment and purpose. I want to study Doctor of Philosophy in educational

management since we are in the extension world and managing education and extension plans

are vital to agricultural development. Also, I want to widen my scope and understanding of the

educational system and philosophy. Moreover, I choose the program because of its unique role

and context in achieving an efficient and effective educational system in the region and its

relevant to agricultural extension system objectives.

Further, in ATI I was assigned in managing the workforce and supervise extension-

related works and services and with this experience, I can perform how to manage people and

achieve desired results and outcomes. Lastly, during my graduate studies in MSCrop Science

aside from time management-related constraints, I also suffer financial problems since I

financed my education with my personal funds. With these constraints, I was motivated and

persevered to finish my MS and pursue my Ph.D. since it is helpful not only in my personal goal

but with the services I can offer to our clients and respond to societal needs with expertise and

dedication. Thus, taking this course is not an option or personal goal it is more than that. I want

to help our clients which are the farmers to fulfill their dreams and aspirations with efficient and

effective extension services that we can offer.
