I’ll tell you a neat trick on how to put your bedsheet on the mattress so it would almost never slide off.

I am obsessed with cleanliness. I rub the floors a little harder, get the right products to
clean different surfaces (bless the soul of those people who get multi-purpose cleaner), and how I love a
well-fitted bedsheet.
They sell something called “the fitted sheet” in the US, and man, did I hoard them. They fit so cleanly on
the mattress that it doesn’t slide off the mattress even if Trisha jumps on them.
So when I moved to India last year, of all the things, I missed the fitted bedsheet the most. No matter how
hard I tried to tuck the bedsheets in, they would always slide off the mattress.
It was only until when my mother came to stay with me for a few weeks, and she showed me how to put the
bedsheet like a pro.
Here is the trick, you tie knots on all the corners of the bedsheet. Like below.

Always remember that the knots should be tight. When putting the bedsheet on the mattress, tuck the
knots in on the corners first properly, and then tuck in all the sides.
And that’s how you get a fitted bedsheet from a flat one.

Most of us are spending our time sitting on our beds with a bag of chips and watching Netflix. Take it as a
reminder to change your bedsheets more often - because it gets dirty more often.
And who doesn’t like a clean bed?
