II. ESSAY. Discuss briefly, what is ask below.

1. How quantitative research related or important to different field of discipline?

People do research to find solutions, even tentative ones, to problems, in order to improve or

enhance ways of doing things, to disprove or provide a new hypothesis, or simply to find answers to

questions or solutions to problems in daily life.

Research findings can affect people’s lives, ways of doing

things, laws, rules and regulations, as well as policies, among others.

The purpose of quantitative research is to attain greater knowledge and understanding of the social
world. Researchers use quantitative methods to observe situations or events that affect people.
Quantitative research produces objective data that can be clearly communicated through statistics and
numbers. We do this in a systematic scientific way so the studies can be replicated by someone else.

Quantitative research creates mathematical models for problems that can be applied to different fields
of research.

By imputing details relative to a problem, the quantitative research formula can then be analyzed to find
a solution. It becomes a problem solving template.
Quantitative research is useful in humanities and social science because it can help to measure and
analyze data. This data can then be used to help answer questions and solve problems in these fields.

Additionally, quantitative research can help to identify trends and patterns that may not be visible
through other methods.

One example of quantitative research used in humanities and social science is the Pew Research
Center's study on the American religious landscape. The study uses survey data to analyze the religious
beliefs and practices of Americans from different demographic groups.

2. Choose two disciplines enumerated above(column B) and explain how quantitative research was used
on it.
I. ESSAY:

A. How important quantitative research across fields? Cite at least five fields and explain how
quantitative research is interconnected with it

I. CONCEPT MAP- Complete the concept map presented below. You add figures so long as you
will use your creativity using the figures given. Present the importance of quantitative
research to different fields. Maximize the space below.

Quantitative research gives busy entrepreneurs the ability to collect large volumes of data quickly and
efficiently, providing a generalised view of your target demographic beyond your survey participants.
The analysis and result of a survey can also be processed with speed too
