 January 2022- Current: General Merchandise Clerk, Meijer, Flossmoor, IL – Charged with unloading trucks
and separating live loads; responsible for a variety of retail tasks and merchandising; deliverance of
remarkable customer service by providing exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly
attitude; maintains a positive working relationship with team members and leadership.
 January 2016-January 2018: Fitness Attendant, Matteson Community Center, Matteson, IL –
Charged with ensuring the safety and sanitation of exercise/fitness equipment for the ultimate benefit of
the community clientele.
 August 2013-February 2015: Plant Employee, St. Regis Manufacturing, Chicago, IL –
(Cross-trained in receiving/shipping/sanding). In the receiving/ shipping department, I vigorously unloaded
docks, inspected incoming merchandise, and skillfully organized the warehouse to ensure accountability for
inventory; as a sander, I facilitated the process for quality control to assure that figurines were finished in a
manner representative of company standards.

WORK EXPERIENCE: EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT


 August 2020 – August 2022: Willow Elementary School, Homewood, IL – Teacher Assistant
As a Teacher Assistant at Willow in School District 153, I professionally supported student learning via
cooperative associations with classroom teachers for the educational benefit of diverse learners with
specific needs. During my first year, I was a one-on-one; in year two, I worked closely with daily living
support for students with special needs.
 August 2016 – June 2020: Madison Elementary School, South Holland, IL – Paraprofessional
As a Paraprofessional at Madison in School District 151, I professionally collaborated with teachers,
school social workers, and the school nurse. These experiences provided me with the background
knowledge needed to positively interact with all students in the classroom. I was charged with providing
RTI instruction to specific students; I was privileged to attend professional development workshops to
learn how to improve academic achievement on behalf of the students. I also effectively collaborated
with colleagues who sponsored after-school clubs by creating logos that represented the clubs. I was also
proud to provide supervision during lunch, recess, and the school bus ride home if needed.
