How Just in One-Click of My Finger Changed My Life

As species we need an inbuilt need to connect with others, to communicate and interact to
create community with its essence and internet empowers us to do things in ways we never
before imagined. There is revolution dominating all over the world. Who would have thought
that this revolution greatly changes how people live today, how it had impact and will have
impact in every human dominated by this so-called Information revolution?
Personally, in my 20 years of existence I have observed how the world faced changes as
time passes by. Reminiscing the past, during my elementary years I had hard time doing my
homework because of the lack of accessibility to the information, I won’t deny that back then
there is already an internet but not all of us can afford it and the technology used is also costly.
However, in the fast pacing world, Information Revolution indeed a big help to all students like
me. I can attest that, due to the easy access of information learning also become flexible. In just
one-click of my finger, I can attain numerous of information, I can access different websites
necessary for learning and most of all information revolution made students widen their
knowledge to particular topics because the information is not limited. Moreover, there are
different applications we can use that contains million of information, we have Google, Mozilla
Firefox, Internet explorer, Pinterest and many more.
My school days is a tough part of my life. There are so many things to accomplish, loads
of assignment to do, activities that need to be done and requirements that should be passed on-
time. But now, because of the accessibility of information I can now work at ease and
effortlessly. All I need to do is to find reliable information to ensure its credibility. As a student,
I don’t reject the help that books offer, nor I don’t make myself become over dependent to the
use of internet, I am certain that I balance the use of the mentioned digital tools. When the
information in the book is not enough to understand its context, I consulted the internet to get
some necessary information needed for the learning.
As a wrap, Information now is available at the click of a mouse. It flows readily without
regard for borders. Every teacher and student have access to great stores of knowledge all over
the world. As what they said, “there is too much to learn, too much to know.” Beyond that,
student must give the necessary tools and skills to access information, select what is useful and
relevant and maximize the information into useful knowledge. As for me, this revolution allows
active learning to take place beyond what is normal and it makes the learning environment
interactive. I can say that information revolution helps me seeking out knowledge easily as to
why learning for me become fun, interesting and flexible.
