Educational Technology as a part of studying has a lot of benefits there are the access to information, help in protecting the environment, increase the popularity of distance learning, easiness in teaching, technology makes education enjoyable. Other benefits of Educational Technology in a classroom are the easy-to-access course materials, student motivation, more education for extended learning and wide participation. These benefits show how important educational technology is and how important it is for the application of educational technology in the classroom. Also another thing to learn about the basics of Educational Technology is that it is important for us teachers to know Educational Technology. Why? It’s because when you know other teaching strategies that can grab your students” attention. Benefits of Educational Technology IL.1 Access to Information — If we noticed that back then the way of gathering information is by going to the library and reading news paper articles but thanks to Educational Technology it has been easy for us to access informations from the internet. II, 2 Help in protecting the environment — Since we used a lot of papers on making books or other learning materials with the help of the application of educational technology we tend to save more papers that will result to the preservation of trees. IL. 3 ~ Increase the popularity of distance learning ~ Distance learning is the delivering of education and instruction who are not physically on a traditional setting. The reason why it increases the popularity of distance leaming is because of the fact that distance learning is, flexible wherein you can study at any time we want. II, 4— Easiness in Teaching — Since it’s good to know another way of presenting the lesson to your students. Projectors and other audio visual equipment can also be used for better listening.
