    This is an ongoing Urban Public Space Implementation


    Project by Paraa focusing on understanding the play
    culture among Korail (one of Dhaka city’s largest slums)
    children, youths, and the community. The playground
    adjacent to Pollibondhu Ershad School (a school in
    Korail), is selected as the site for interventions for a
    community-managed playspace in Korail. The project
    aims to be a temporary urban space design intervention
    model and serve for up to three years (2022-24). The
    primary/direct user groups are the children and youths
    of the community. Along with that, will be the women,
    and other people within and beyond the Korail commu-
    nity.
