1 INTRODUCTION / INTRODUCCIÓN
In our neighborhood we can find many places that are essential to satisfy our needs in different
aspects. In Peruvian neighborhoods there are many options to get groceries, like minimarkets,
supermarkets, or malls. People usually go to the minimarket on weekends, where they can have a
nice talk with shoppers while buying food. Also, in the neighborhoods we can find libraries, where
we can buy books, magazines, or stationery products. Some people who live downtown have the
chance to get newspapers or magazines in the newsstands, which are usually located on the
corner of streets or avenues. Besides, in the neighborhoods that are in the capital city, people can
go to the malls and find almost everything because there are lots of places, such as bookstores,
coffee shops, banks, drugstores, department stores, restaurants, among others. So, it is
important to go to these places because it is a
good way to get to know each other and have a
better relationship with our neighbors.
