In order to enhance my practical and technical skills, I have dedicated myself to the practical fieldwork

of zoology. Before I elaborate on my interest in zoology, I would like to go over my academic

background. Since my childhood I am an energetic, curious, and ambitious person student. My curiosity
led me to choose the field of zoology for my future career. I joined that field to get practical knowledge
and technical skills to research on since my school life. On my remarkable achievement in matric, I was
awarded with laptop and got good grades in intermediate. genetics of local animal species in Cholistan
desert. My academic goal is to study and work on genetics with advanced technologies Like DNA
sequencing.

Being from born and raised in an underprivileged area where getting admission in university ishad made
getting higher education a dream for me only a dream for girls. I earned convincing grades in
matriculation and intermediate exams, and I was awarded with laptop for my exceptional result. Along
with dedicated to excelling in academics, I am more passionate to bring opportunities for girls of my
community to bring a generational change.

This initiates me to work for my community. During last couple of years, Thus, I have organized initiated
various sessions on women empowerment, and conducted workshops for disabledisabled people and
also for junior school students on career counseling. If I’ll get a chance to excel; it would send a positive
message to the girls in my area that education is the ray of hope in the current situation . As a youth
activistTo be more capable activist and positive change maker in my community, I have been part of
attended various capacity building seminars and conferences and has worked as volunteer in in local
youth societies.

I have deep interest in studying genetics of animal species in Cholistan desert. My motto is to work on
genetics at international level with advanced technology e.g. DNA sequencing.

In this desert area of southern Punjab, I don’t have much resources and skills to study genetics of those
species that’s why I wish to acquire knowledge and skills from any USA university and then use it in
Pakistani setting on my way back to Pakistan. Academically, I don’t have the opportunity to particularly
research on genetics of local spices. That’s why through this program, I wanted to acquire necessary
knowledge and skills and aim to utilize them upon my return.Besides all this , Along with that being a
cultural ambassador of Pakistan, knowing I aim to learn aboutabout the USA’s diverse American
culture,al norms, and values to equip myself to bring positive change among the girls of my community.
will surely help me in my personal grooming and enhance my leadership qualities.
