INTRODUCTION: Nature of the Case: Name; Nature of the Disability

Nature of the Case: The video presented by TED Talk, shows the life experience of Stephen Tonti
having ADHD also known as Attention-Deficit or Hyperactivity Disorder. He stated that ADHD is not a
disorder. Having ADHD for him is not about attention deficit rather it is attention different. Also having
ADHD for him doesn’t mean that he is not able to do some things that normal people can do. Rather he
didn’t mind the negative effects of his situation, where he can still excel in his passions and do all things
that he wants to do as a normal person.
Nature of the Disability: ADHD attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is a neurodevelopmental
disorder that involves problems with attention, concentration and/or increased activity levels, resulting in
problems with school, work and social situations. Individuals with ADHD also often experience trouble
with impulse control.
