Presented by: Group 8

Situation
Analysis
● Desai, a College Student, faced a job search
dilemma
● Applied for two internships- one with a
company known for a good culture, Strategic
Carrier Logistics (SCL), the other with Thijs

familiar and desirable to Desai.
● After a number of interactions, SCL offered him
full time role in sales and he has to revert back
in two days
● Desai wanted to work in Thijs Marketing but its
recruitment and selection process is not
complete yet

Recommendation

s!
Desai should take the job offered by SCL, as Thijs was a low-paying
internship with no guarantee of employment once the internship was
done.
● Also, he is uncertain about his position at Thijs. With Desai paying his
own way through college, it is important for him to take financially
sound decisions.
● Moreover, SCL has Great culture and employee treated well and is
providing Nice salary and full time position.
● The company is popular and recommended by Profs in the college and
this will also be a ethical option
