1.What is the difference between the concept of POLITICS, GOVERNANCE, and

GOVERNMENT?

Politics, in the sense that it
involves ventilating and
resolving public issues that
could give rise to conflict, is
often seen as being
inconsistent with good
governance. This is because
among others politics could
lead to inefficient use of time
and other government
resources. It is also viewed
as the process of making
government policies. Thus,
comes the study of political
science.
It involves the application and Is a system of social control

policies as well as the laws, and the right to enforce

government organizations’ group in society. Government

2. How should we study POLITICS?

justice, and force. Another involves the study of the institutions and process of
politics. In the Philippines settings, politics can be studied through the exercise of
power by local political leaders, and the effectiveness of government institutions and
official actions, it can be also studied through the prism of everyday life.

3. What is the importance of studying POLITICS and GOVERNANCE?

Politics and Governance are shaped by the institutions of a country, institutions as the
significant practices needed to sustain and restrain orderly competition in the field of
politics so it is really important for us to have politics and governance.
