Planet 

is a large, round body that orbits a star and shines by the reflection of the star’s light.

There are eight planets that orbit the sun in our solar system. In order of increasing distance from
the sun, they are

(1) Mercury,

(2) Venus,

(3) Earth,

(4) Mars,

(5) Jupiter,

(6) Saturn,

(7) Uranus, and

(8) Neptune

 Venus: planetary hot spot

Venus is the second planet from the Sun, and is Earth's closest neighbor in the
solar system. Venus is the brightest object in the sky after the Sun and the Moon, and
sometimes looks like a bright star in the morning or evening sky.

 Jupiter: twice as massive as all the other planets combined

Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and the biggest planet of our
Solar System.

A day on Jupiter goes by very fast. It only lasts for about 10 hours.
 Saturn: jewel of our solar system

 Light takes
Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second largest planet in our solar system.
about 1 hour and 29 minutes to travel from Saturn and then arrive at us.
