English LESSON - 6 The people in My Neighbourhood

About the poem ( for teacher's reference )

The poem ' The People in my neighbourhood is about the different neighbourhood
helpers who help us lead a smooth life . Through this poem , the students are
being made aware of a wider network of people in the neighbourhood .
The first stanza of the poem , express the nature of the
people in the neighbourhood . From the second till the last stanza , the reader
meets three different characters who contribute in their own way to the
neighbourhood .
