What is suicide?
 Suicide is a way to harm themselves by ending their own life. 
 One of the standard methods of suicide is pesticide poisoning, hanging, and drug
overdose. 

Why do people commit suicide?


 People often commit suicide because of domestic violence, depression, anxiety, and
personality disorders, and the most common is bullying (physical or online). 
 People who experienced child abuse and post-traumatic stress disorders also ended
their lives. 

What are the signs that someone might be suicidal?


 One of the main warning signs if a person might be suicidal is the following:
1. Talking about wanting to die.
2. Feeling empty and believing that they are all alone. 
3. Mental and physical illness 
4. Anxiety levels are high, which leads them to depression.
5. Overdosage of drugs and alcohol.
6. Reckless driving
7. Mood swings

Do certain groups of people have the higher rates of suicide?


 It can occur to all ages, but the most number of age groups who commit suicide are
around 10-14 years old or 20-34 years old. 
 It can also happen to any race or ethnic group.

Can suicide be prevented?


 It can be if we can give them the mental and moral support that the person needs. 
 We can help them prevent suicide by attending family relationships and social-emotional
learning programs.
