Currently, there are growing number of people converned about trafic problems

They suggest that the government should tax private car owners heavily for use the the money to exalt
public transportation. Which is the solution for solve traffic problems.

This essay attempts to ponit out some merits and demerits of the aforementioned issue

there are a number of disadvantages of taxing private care owners that we should take into
consideration.

Firstly, the cost for buying a car or a motorbike elevate, but the most of people who purchase vehicles
are middle class. And on the order hand, it have many kind of tax for using private car like motor vihicle
insurance, tax of petroleum fuels,… which due to economic burden and extension for every people.

Secondly, in Vietnam there has not enough the public transport for everyone. So it exist some
contradictory on this solution.

But in my opinion, there are several reasons why this solution is beneficial.

The principal one is the improving public transportation encourage people to using them. And it leads to
decrease the traffic problems, curtail the time to go home for the citizen, reduce the environmental
pollution.

In addition, in Vietnam, it have more than 11,000 traffic accidents occurred causing more than 5,000
deaths. Moving by public transportation can increase this situation.

In conclusion, this solution may have some advantages. I believe they are outweighed by the more
disadvantages.
