5. Use the Cross Reference Types

window to select a cross reference
type to assign to an item. You can
assign multiple items to the same
cross reference type, and you can
assign one item to multiple cross
reference types.

6. Click an entry in the Obsolete row.

7. Click the Assign button.

8. Use the Assign Cross References
window to create cross references
between items and other entities.

13. Enter the obsolete part number.

e.g. "FG18947".
14. Click in the Description field.
15. Enter the desired information into
the Description field. Enter a valid
value e.g. "Obsolete part number".
16. Click the Save button.
