    HEALTH AND SAFETY EXECUTIVE

    PRESSURE SYSTEMS SAFETY REGULATIONS 2000

    CERTIFICATE OF EXEMPTION No.1 OF 2021

    In accordance with the powers conferred upon it by paragraph (1) of regulation 17 of The
    Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 (“the Regulations”) (SI 2000/128) and being
    satisfied that the health and safety of persons who are likely to be affected by the
    exemption will not be prejudiced in consequence of it as required by paragraph (2) of
    that regulation, the Health and Safety Executive (“the Executive”) grants the following
    Certificate of Exemption (“exemption”).

    EXEMPTION

    The Regulations shall not apply to any pressure system forming an enclosure for high
    voltage electrical equipment.

    This exemption takes effect from 1st December 2021 and shall remain in force for five
    years, subject to the power of the Executive to vary or revoke it at any time by a further
    certificate in writing.
