What is NSTP

Is a program aimed at enhancing civic consciousness and

defense preparedness in the youth by developing the
ethics of service and patriotism while undergoing training
in any of its three (3) program components.

Purpose
NSTP aims to promote and integrate values education,
transformational leadership, spirit of patriotism and
nationalism and sustainable social mobilization for youth
development, community building and national security.

Important to you as a student

It is useful to us, as a student as because we will be
trained to become well-disciplined and efficient.

NSTP has 3 components

 Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS).
 Literacy Training Service (LTS).
 Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC).

Definitions
-Add text
Add Text is the quickest way to put text on photos.

-Update label
Used when additional label functions are added to
symbols in Symbol Manager (Group function / Tags).

Footnotes is additional information found at the

bottom of the current page in a document.
Superscript numbers are used in both the document
and the footnote to help reader match the text to
the supplemental information at the bottom.

 Citations in certain styles

Footnotes are a lot like endnotes, which are used in
similar ways. The difference is that endnotes appear all
together at the end of the text, instead of separately on
each page. This gives your text a less cluttered
appearance, but it can also be inconvenient for readers.
footnotes appear at the bottom of the same page, while
endnotes appear at the end of the paper.
Footnotes and endnotes are used in printed
documents to explain, comment on, or provide
references for a text in a report.

For example, say you want to add an interesting

comment to a sentence you have written, but the
comment is not directly related to the argument of
your paragraph.

Add foot note to the document.

Navigate to the next footnote in the document.
-Endnotes
Are notes that appear at the end of your text in a piece
of academic writing. They’re indicated in the text with
numbers (or occasionally other symbols).
Endnotes are used:
 For citations in certain styles.
 To add extra information that doesn’t fit
smoothly into the main text.
