Content Outline: Canva

Needs Survey
Canva is a Web 2.0 graphic design tool that encourages differentiation, project–
based learning, critical design literacy, and collaboration. Teachers and students
will be able to create and design their own learning by creating a variety of visual
tools. From presentations to videos, to infographics to posters, and worksheets to
project-based learning experiences the possibilities are endless.

Goals:
● Teachers will be introduced to Canva and discover how to integrate the Web
2.0 into their instruction to promote visual literacy.

Objectives:
● Teachers will create an Educator's account on Canva.
● Teachers will discover the benefits of implementing Canva into their
instruction.
● Teachers will create an instructional activity that implements a Canva
assignment.

variety of purposes using the platforms, tools, styles, formats and
digital media appropriate to their goals.
