FORMULA SHEET:

Surface Area: (Right Rectangular

Prism)
To find the surface area of a right prism, we add
up all the areas of the faces of the prism.
𝑆𝐴 = 2(𝑙 · 𝑤) + 2(𝑙 · ℎ) + 2(𝑤 · ℎ)

Volume: (Right Rectangular Prism)

To find the volume of a right prism, we just
multiply the length, width and height!
𝑉=𝑙·𝑤·ℎ

Circle Area & Circumference

The circumference of a circle is known as: 𝐶 = π · 𝑑 or
𝐶 = 2π𝑟
2
The area of a circle is known as: 𝐴 = π𝑟

(Where 𝑟 = 𝑟𝑎𝑑𝑖𝑢𝑠 and 𝑑 = 𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑚𝑒𝑡𝑒𝑟, keep in terms of π!)

Volume: (Cylinder)
To find the volume of a right prism, we just multiply the length,
width and height!
2
𝑉 = π𝑟 · ℎ

Surface Area: (Cylinder)

To find the surface area of a cylinder the equation is as follows:
2
𝑆𝐴 = 2π·r·h + 2π𝑟

Volume: (Cone)
To find the volume of a cone the equation is as follows:
2 ℎ
𝑉 = π𝑟 · 3

Volume: (Sphere)
To find the volume of a sphere the equation is as follows:
4 3
𝑉 = 3
π𝑟
