SUBJECT: Application for Authorization to conduct RNP Authorization Required

Approach (RNP AR APCH) Operations at Macao International Airport
by Foreign Aircraft Operators

1. Introduction
1.1 According to paragraph 29 (5) of the Air Navigation Regulation of Macao (ANRM), PBN
authorization required (AR) operations in Macao shall not be conducted by any aircraft not
registered in Macao unless the operator of the aircraft has obtained authorization from the
AACM for such operations.

1.2 The purpose of this Aeronautical Information Circular (AIC) is to inform foreign aircraft
operators the application details and procedures for applying for authorization to conduct RNP
AR APCH operations at Macao International Airport (M.I.A.)

2. Application Procedures
2.1 A foreign aircraft operator who intends to conduct the RNP AR APCH operations at M.I.A.
must hold a valid RNP AR APCH operational approval from the appropriate authority of the
State of the Operator.

2.2 A foreign aircraft operator who intends to conduct the RNP AR APCH operations at M.I.A.
shall submit a formal application to the AACM to demonstrate that all relevant requirements
are met. The formal application must include an application form (form no. FS/APP/008a)
together with all relevant information and documents to support the application. The
application form is available for download from the AACM website (www.aacm.gov.mo).

2.3 After a preliminary review of the application and the submitted documents, if deemed
necessary by the AACM, an application meeting between the AACM and the applicant may be
required. During such meeting, the applicant will provide further details on how the applicant
will demonstrate that all requirements are met. Where the AACM may need to perform
inspections in relation to this application, such inspections should be arranged by the applicant
at no cost to the AACM.

2.4 Applicant shall submit the completed application form and supporting documents to the AACM
at least 30 days prior to the proposed commencement date of the RNP AR APCH operations at
M.I.A or the expiry date of the current AACM authorization. Supporting documents required
for initial (first application), variation (adding aircraft or revise RNP value) or renewal
(revalidation of authorization with no change to specification) are referred to the table in the
application form. Incomplete application will not be processed or cause delay in processing the
application.
