How does knowing one’s self help in performing your duties as a CWTS student?
Student’s Answer:

CWTS course involves values that we can found from professors to students, from students to peers, and
from the people we meet to communities. We, students, we will learn leadership skills and civic
consciousness. Knowing one’s self help improve our duties as a CWTS student in which makes as a better
person.

Before we take the CWTS course, it is important that we must know first ourselves. It can help us became
familiar of oneself and we know what one wants and what are the characteristics one should improve. It is
easier for you to engage and implement projects that involves the community issues that need attentions
because you are familiar with yourself. If one is familiar with oneself, you would also know what it is in
every individual’s duty to be socially aware, to be responsible individual members, and to be able to help
the members of the society.

Being familiar of oneself is very important for the everyday life. We don’t live for others judging us on
what they just see on us but what we know on ourselves. It is the part of the growing and improvement. If
we know ourselves, it is easy for us to improve, to control, and to be aware of things we do and will do.
