As a potential recruit who will probably be looking for a job after graduation, explain the method of

recruiting that you think would be most effective in attracting you.

On my side, the one that attract me the most is the Job Posting or Bidding which is an internal method
of recruitment in which notices of available jobs are posted in central location throughout the
organization and employees are given a specified length of time to apply for the available jobs as we all
know that internal method of recruitment required less costly when compared to job posting targeting
internal and external candidates. There is no longer a need to spend resources on job advertising in print
and broadcast media, because the information on the vacant position will only be released internally
and there is a great opportunity for development and career progression. Moreover, external
recruitment contains disadvantages as well which is the attracting, contracting, and evaluating potential
employees seems to be difficult and that employees hired from the outside need a longer adjustments
or orientation period.

why is it important to conduct pre-employment background investigations?

It is indeed important to conduct a pre-employment background investigations as we are aiming


for excellence performance, competitiveness, and integrity that the company must maintain in order to
become successful. Through the help of pre-employment background investigations, it can be used
during the hiring process which will helps the employer to determine if the applicant is lying during the
interview. In addition, it also helps the employer to weigh if who’s the most qualified applicant for the
job who have terms in knowledge, skills and attitude. As a result, for the effort the company have been
regulated, the company will have skilled and competent employees with possible chance of having a
good attitude. Lastly, the hint of identifying applicants that has suspicious backgrounds or criminal
records and preventing for this people to cause damage in the company.

Tests often do not reflect an individual’s true ability

On this statement, I agree that tests cannot rest assured the individual’s true ability wherein it is not
enough to measure an applicant’s true skills and abilities. Hence, test can be used by the organization to
test ang get an aptitude knowledge from them but it is limited. But to obtain proficiency for a particular
position that needed it requires action. it will help them to find a capable employee. In test it may not
derive person’s true ability because question addresses individual personal characteristics and most
individuals will be under impression that they should chose options that will give good impression rather
than opting which truly resembles them.
