1. Makato is honest, determined, clever, intelligent, hardworking, tall and gorgeous, and loyal.
2. Honesty - Despite being paid a little, he never slacked off at work. When he saw the small cowrie
lying on the ground, he went to pick it up and present it to the monarch.
Determined - He never gave up on his quest to achieve his desired destination, the Kingdom of
Sukhothai.
Clever – Makato wisely thought of a way to have as much as many lettuce seeds he can buy from
his cowrie shell.
Intelligent and hardworking - The king was thrilled with Makato after presenting him with the
largest bunches of lettuce that he was able to grow from the cowrie shell that the king had given
him.
Tall and Gorgeous - As the years went, he grew tall and handsome.
Loyal - He was so devoted to the king that the king had complete faith in him.
3. Makato climbed the ranks until he was awarded the title of Kun Wang, which signified he was
the most important person in the king's court. He was also happily married to the king's lovely
young daughter. After that, the king made him the ruler of the Mon. As a result, Makato, a poor
orphan, rose to become king of that prosperous kingdom.
4. One of his traits that are similar to mine is being intelligent, though most of the time I am not, I
have a vivid imagination and creativity, and I believe creativity is the combination of both
intelligence and imagination.
5. After having no opinions, the next most tiresome thing is pretending to be someone you're not.
Trying to fit in or be accepted generally backfires. Because each of us is unique, it is our ability to
convey that uniqueness that makes us intriguing. Trying to be a carbon replica of someone else
