PERFORMANCE TASK:

3 Sides:
This is basically a SSS triangle congruence theorem. In these two triangles are 3 pairs of
corresponding sides congruent to each other.
2 Sides and 1 included angle
This is simply a SAS triangle congruence theorem. In these two triangles are 2 pairs of
congruent sides with a pair of congruent angles in between them.
2 Angles and 1 included side
This is merely an ASA triangle congruence theorem. In these two triangles are 2 pairs of
congruent angles with a pair of congruent sides in between them.
2 Angles and 1 non-included side
This one is called AAS triangles congruence theorem. In two triangles are 2 pairs of
congruent angles along with a pair of congruent sides. Though both ASA and AAS
involve 2 congruent angles and one congruent side, they have a difference. In AAS the
congruent angles are consecutive and then the congruent side is next to them instead of in
between.
