INTRODUCTION

Academic text are defined as critical, objective, specialized texts written by experts or
professionals in a given field using formal language. Understanding the structures and
academic texts are very important. Academic texts have different general classifications as
having each of their purposes and unique contents. As a student, we are required to know
and demonstrates what we have learned so far. In this compilation, it aims to show you all
what and why we should give importance on learning these things. Each of the samples that
will be shown, will demonstrates the contents of academic text presenting it’s structures for
better understanding.
