1. Presidential Decree NO.603 This decree helps me understand and inform me of the
rights of children and young persons. As a future
teacher, this idea and lesson will help me be aware of
children’s rights. And also, as a parent, I must protect
my kid’s rights from harm and provide for their physical
and social needs.
2. Government Project for Filipino children and The government provides many projects to young
young. children who are beaten black and blue by parents,
victims of sexual or physical abuse, child labor,
malnutrition, parental neglect, etc. These made me
realize that if and only if something happens that I can
feel that my rights were abused, I can go to some
government agencies to help me and advise me on
what to do.

3. Adolescence is the psychological and social
transition between childhood and adulthood.
This made me realize as a mother; I should be
prepared for all that would happen to my kids sooner.
Because in this stage, they already have decisions for
themselves. And also, there are many changes, not just
physical but also in emotional, biological, social, and
psychological matters. I should accept that all my kids
will go to this stage.

4. Article 7:1- Register the child immediately after
birth and have the right from birth to a name,
nationality: and right to know and be cared for
by his parent.
As a parent, we are obliged to register our children to
give their names and nationality. And also we are
responsible for taking care of them. We should not let
those rights of the kids be neglected as parents be
responsible enough to raise your children.

5. Rights of children and young peopleChildren and young people have a right to grow and
develop their potential to the fullest. So we must
address their needs such as food, water, shelter,
support, guidance, encouragement, and quality
education that helps them become responsible human
beings. Since I am a mother, I will ensure that I can
provide for all my kids’ needs.
