Identify and write a brief description of each drawing.
e.g. Roof Plan - A scaled drawing, or diagram, of a planned
roof development.
ANSWER:
1. THE PERSPECTIVE -The actual scene of the proposed
building in isometric view.
2. THE LOCATION/VICINITY MAP- The location of the
proposed structure with the nearby streets and
landmarks.
3. THE SITE DEVELOPMENT PLAN-Indicates the location of
Buildings and other structures within the Proposed Lot.
4. THE LOT PLAN-Drawing of the distances and bearings of
the Lot
Front Elevation – the side of the house which includes the
entrance door, windows
5. Interior Elevation – sections in that they show all of the
heights inside the house
6. Window and door schedules - convenient way of
presenting complex information about the different door
and window sizes and types
7. Foundation Plan – plan view drawing, in section, showing
the location and size of footings, piers, columns,
foundation walls, and supporting beams
8. Ground Floor Plan – a floor of a building with a building
entrance on an accessible route
9. Framing Plan – plan that’s designed to show the
locations, material sizes, spacings and numbers of the
structural elements that will be used to build
10. Roof Framing Plan – showing the shape of the
structure and the outline of the roof, it also shows the
size and direction of the framing members use to frame
the roof.
11. Wiring Plan - The home electrical wiring diagrams
start from this main plan of an actual home which was
recently wired and is in the final stages.
