Conclusion

The inhabitants of village Kundiguda are motivated to implement MANTRA

with 100 percent inclusion of all families. Despite limited economic resources,
the villagers are prepared to change their behavior regarding sanitation and
hygiene practices in order to access the benefit of having a piped clean water
supply in the village. Community leadership is traditional, and there is apparent
unity amongst the different households. This is shown by the practice of sharing
labour for other collective purposes which is common in the village.
