Nuclear Family

A family is a group of two or more persons related by birth

or marriage. There are mainly two types of families -
Nuclear family and Extended family. A nuclear family is a
small family consisting of husband, wife and their children
On the contrary, an extended family is a big family that
consists not only of parents and children but also of grand
parents, aunts etc.At present, most people are fond of
forming a nuclear family for its different advantages. Here
the parents can manage their family easily with a small
income, The woman in a nuclear family gets enough time
to look after her children. The children get proper food,
clothing housing, education and medicare. in) They also
get enough time. and favourable atmosphere to study, It
is free from the noise of an extended family. All the
members are free to make their own decisions without
any interference of the elder.Privacy of the members is
well protected in this type of bamily.A nuclear family with
fewer people has very less chance of misunderstanding
and conflicts. It is free from unnecessary quarrels and
disagreements .There is the existance of peace and
harmoney among the members and that is essential for
living a happy family life. But a nuclear family has some
disadvantages too. Couple don't get a chance to learn
anything from their elder. Children don't get proper love
and affection from their grandparents. Children don't get
chance to learn etiquette and become self-centred. As
grandparents are not allowed to live in a nuclear family,
they suffer a lot in their old age. They are forced to live in
an old-home or somewhere else. Here a family member
may not bind anybody to get help. an emergency.
Sometimes life becomes unbearable for in the feeling of
loneliness, lack of scopes of sharing feelings with others
etc. Despite some disadvantages, for easy and simple
living, peaceful and standard life, nuclear family is getting
more popular throughout the world.
