A: Hello, how are you?

B: Hi, Well, a few days ago I was remembering some unusual experiences I had.

A: Great, it's always good to remember good experiences.

B: Yes, especially if they happened a few years ago.

A: It's not common to experience these things every day, so it becomes endearing.

B: Have you ever eaten anything unusual?

A: I don't remember exactly one meal but I did eat a very unusual appetizer on a trip.

B: Travel is a great opportunity to do something out of the ordinary.

A: Yes, on a trip to the jungle in the country we were served this meal.

B: When was it?

A: It was for my high school prom trip, we ate suri, it was very strange.

B: Yes, I have heard of this food, it is a larva that is natural to the Peruvian jungle.

A: That's right, at first we refused to eat it but then we agreed and it's an experience to
remember forever.

B: I can imagine how weird the texture and taste of the larva was, it must have been
quite strange.

A: Exactly, have you ever shopped online?

B: I actually prefer to go to the stores in person because it's easier to choose the
product you want.

A: It's true, it's rare to buy online but it's quite fast.

B: Yes, I tried it once, I bought some clothes and shoes for a party, but they took a long
time to confirm the purchase.

A: It's common for those problems to happen, it's quite stressful.

B: Exactly, in the end they cancelled my purchase because they didn't have the
product in stock in the store.

A: What a bad experience, but it's not always like that.

B: yes, it was very bad luck, have you ever camped outdoors?
A: I remember camping, some years ago, it was a very nice experience.

B: How was this unusual activity?

A: It was for a spiritual retreat that my school held, we took tents and sleeping bags,
however, it was too cold, it was very strange to sleep on the cold ground.

B: Sounds fun, would you repeat that experience?

A: Probably, but I would choose a better place to camp. Have you ever had an unusual
experience on a trip?

B: Actually yes, it was on a trip to Ayabaca, for the festivity of the Señor Cautivo.

A: What happened?

B: We went as a family to visit the town and the church, it was my first time in Ayabaca,
in the month I went it was too cold.

A: It is true, in the month of October the cold is very strong but it is a very beautiful
place.

B: That's right, but I didn't count on the fact that I wasn't used to the altitude, so as soon
as we arrived, I started to vomit and had a lot of dizziness and headaches.

A: Some people get altitude sickness or soroche.

B: I felt pretty bad, so I spent the whole trip locked in the car where we arrived and I
didn't enjoy the trip very much.

A: what a bad experience, but someday you can go back but with the necessary care.

B: Yes, it is a very happy and emblematic festival of Ayabaca, I would love to return.

A: I hope that someday you can.

B: It is interesting to hear about the unusual experiences we have been through.

A: It's fun to be able to share them with someone else.

B: Sounds great, we should get together more often to keep talking about these
experiences.

A: of course, see you

B: Bye
