GROUP 1 DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PROJECT CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT VS

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Construction management is the process of managing construction projects.
When comparing construction project management to other types of projects,
the main distinction is that construction is mission-based. That means that the
project’s organization ends with the completion of the project build.
Construction management is particularly vital to large-scale projects that have
more potential for problems that could significantly delay the project and cost
money. A construction manager measures each design decision with careful
analysis that calculates the impact that decision will make on the budget and
schedule.
Construction manager is a professional who oversees the building of residential,
commercial, and industrial structures. It’s mainly responsible for keeping
construction projects running correctly from start to finish. They do so by
monitoring the progress onsite in their office. Then, they decide what needs
further attention or notify other parties if something hasn’t been accomplished
according to urgency levels specified by higher-ups.
Project manager is a professional in charge of ensuring their teams complete all
projects on time and within budget. A project manager will guide and manage
the process of development from real-estate through construction. Project
manager responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, ensuring
resource availability and allocation, and delivering every project on time within
budget and scope. Project manager should have a background in business skills,
management, budgeting, and analysis.
In summary, the project manager oversees the whole project while the
construction manager was assigned on the construction field or sites.
