Going to school is better than studying at home.

Seeing your friends at school is the best

part. You talk, you play, and study with them. We always look forward to going to school to see
our friends. What could be more fun than being with your friends? Face-to-face classes allow
you to interact with people in person, unlike studying at home. Communicating is essential for
us. What could possibly happen if we just stay at home, studying alone and not able to
communicate with others?
Going to school keeps us physically active. Cleaning the classroom and performing the
daily exercise during flag ceremony makes us active and energetic. While staying at home
involves answering the module and just sitting whole day. We start with a good sitting posture
then end up with a slouching position. That can be bad for our health. Such things could happen
if there is no teacher or an elder that can tell us that we’re doing the wrong thing. At home, we
often forget to exercise. Being physically fit is a must, and school activities help us to achieve
that.
When it comes to learning and understanding the lessons, face to face class is no doubt
the best option. That’s what we used to do in the past years before the pandemic came.
Sometimes it can be hard to understand lesson the lesson during face-to-face classes, how much
more if you are studying by yourself without any teacher to help you? It’s so different to have a
teacher explaining the lesson than trying to figure out the lesson by your own. It’s harder when
you are studying at home.
Face to face classes can also form a good bond from the students and teachers. School
events like Nutrition Month, Teacher’s Day, and Christmas Party brings teachers and students
closer to each other. It feels good and fulfilling when going up the stage and receiving an award
during school recognitions. It makes us students feel that we succeeded. It’s a proof and fruit of
our hard works. We can’t experience those in studying at home. There’s no excitement nor thrill.
It doesn’t make studying fun and exciting. Instead, it’s boring and lonely. That’s why going to
school is better than studying at home.

Our country is trying it’s best to fight the pandemic. We are in a tight situation right now
and many changes and adjustments were made. My daily routine also changed ever since the
pandemic came and classes were suspended. I used to wake up early in the morning to get ready
for school, but now, I wake up almost noon. From sleeping at 8:00 P.M. to sleeping at 11:00
P.M. My sleeping schedule also changed. I usually take a bath in the afternoon instead of
morning. My advice for this situation is to never lose hope in life. Bad things may come, but
good things will follow. Having someone by your side can make things easier and lighter.

Reflection in English Quarter 1 Module 1

 I have learned that persuasive texts use a degree of modality in nouns, verbs, adverbs, and
adjectives. Clear and distinct structure should be followed in writing a persuasive text. There are
types of persuasive writing such as advertisements, political speeches, and movie reviews. These
types of persuasive writing convince people, like buying a product.

Natutunan ko na ang pamilya ay likas na institusyon. Ito ay ang pangunahing institusyon
ng lipunan.
Ang aral na napulot ko sa araling ito ay ang ating pamilya ay ang paaralan ng
pagmamahal. Dapat mahalin natin ang isa’t isa.
Gusto ko matutunan kung paano maging mas malapit sa aking pamilya.

1. I learned that 3, 985, 669 learners of Nihongo and I could be friends with them. There are
may countries that also study Nihongo. Nihongo is the primary language of the country
Nihon.
2. I am most interested in the 3, 985, 669 Nihongo learners from different country. I want to
make new friends and meeting a person who speak Nihongo would be interesting.
3. It helps me build up my speaking skill of the language.
4. I will keep it in mind.
