The purpose of the documentation emanating from this statement is to ensure that quality control objectives are maintained and accurate records are established for all related activities. The objective is to ensure that the construction plan is executed, controlled and documented in compliance with the contract drawings and specifications. REFERENCES Contract Specifications (Section 03 11 00, 03 20 00, 03 30 00) Contract Drawings Program of Works Material & Drawings Submittal Schedule HEALTH AND SAFETY HAZARDS Specific safety measures have to be followed as applicable. All safety measures are covered separately in the project safety plan, RESPONSIBILITIES 5.1 Project Manager should ensure: ‘© The Columns and wall works activities are carried out according to specifications and drawings. © Work progress is carried out according to the planned program and all the equipment required to execute the works are available as per the project planning and are in good condition. © Coordination with the Consultant, Site Engineer, Safety Engineer and Subcontractors for the safe and proper execution of the work. * Specific attention is paid to all safety measures and quality control in coordination with. Safety Engineer and QC Engineer and in line with HSE plan and Quality plan. 5.2. Project Engineer should ensure: © The Columns and wall works activities are carried out according to the specifications and crawings. © Provision of all necessary information and distribution of responsibilities to his construction team. ‘© ‘The work progress is monitored in accordance with the required program and reports the same to the Project Manager. Incorporate all the QC and Safety requirements as requested by the concerned Engineer. Setting out and Preparatory Works ‘© All the work will be set (or) positioned by the Surveyor as per the design drawings for consultant's approval. ‘© The coordinates shall be measured from grid lines by RAQ and then approved from consultant to proceed fixation of steel. © The concrete area around column shall be chipped and the loose particles must be blown away from compressor. ‘© Old concrete deposited on the rebars shall be removed completely and the concrete junction shall be treated with the bonding agent. ‘© Scaffolding shall be provided around the columns with the planks were necessary for the steel fixers to install and fabricate bars. Steel reinforcement installation Reinforcement to be Inspected and approved by consultants.
