Some of the traditional drinks in France are:

--1. French Connection


The French Connection cocktail is prepared with one part cognac (French component)
and one part amaretto (Italian component).

The famous French brandy gives it its fragrance and


strength of 40 proof alcohol, while the Saronno liqueur made
from apricot kernels and almonds, gives sweetness and soft bitterness.

--2. Absenta.
It is a drink with an aniseed flavor called, "Green Fairy" or "Green Devil",
because
of its color that is obtained mainly by distillation of the wormwood herb.

--3.-Pastis
It has the sweetness of anise and licorice and due to its alcohol content of 45%,
it is drunk mixed with water.

The most usual proportion is between 5 and 7 parts of water to one part of pastis.
A drink served in a small glass is called mummy or mominette in France.

----------------------FOOD--------------

->1.-Snails with butter and parsley.


They are cooked, as their name indicates, with a butter and parsley cream,
and are presented in their shells, to be tasted with a snail skewer.

2->Crepes bretones
is a savory crepe, made with buckwheat flour, which gives it a sour color.

3->La quiche Lorraine.


a tart filled with a mixture of strawberry cream, milk, eggs, nutmeg and grilled
bacon.
These ingredients give it that little smoky flavor that is so popular in the four
corners of France.

Among the most important instruments in continental France is the use


of the bagpipe, which although it is not a native instrument, it has been adopted
since the 17th century, making it part of the visual memory of all of us who have
had
the pleasure of walking the streets of any city in this country.
the most traditional music of France was through oral transmission, especially in
the French
countryside, while the Chanson française, a typical style of French music, is still
very popular today.

French pottery is highly appreciated. The most famous is that of Sevres, just
outside Paris,

porcelain.

and wines,
linen clothes and decorative items, Camargue salt.

In 1795, three years later, it became the official anthem of France.
