1. General
A water s t e r i l i z e r i s a device which s t e r i l i z e s d r i n k i n g water, and has a f i l t e r .
This device radiates e f f i c i e n t l y u l t r a v i o l e t rays o f which wave length i s
253.7 nm, o f which s t e r i l i z i n g action i s extremely hard, and s t e r i l i z e s c o l i t i s ,
dysentery and typhoid germs underwater f o r a short time. .so t h a t it makes
sanitary water.
2. Features
1) U l t r a v i o l e t rays are e f f i c i e n t l y radiated from the center o f the waterway.
so it i s economical.
2) Even if the lamp break, i t s fragments don't mix i n t o drinking water
because o f indirect radiation.
3) Easy f i l t e r exchanging because o f cartridge f i l t e r .

Deterioration and Machine Life
E E B % %
Low - voltage Breaker
The electric machine life is generally defined as follows: "the period until reliability and
safety in use cannot be maintained because of having less electrical and technical ability
due to various stress and deterioration as the years go by."
Even if within the range of life, deterioration or out of life may cause not only less react to
the change of load intensity but also mechanical accident. We'd like to ask you to update for
preventing an accident beforehand and for improving !.he reliabilily of power feeding.
A low-voltage breaker has such functions as open-shut in circuit, over currcnt , cut in
short-circuit current ,and cut in ground current.
The received factors while accomplishing these essential functions are as follows:
1. Electric factor
2. Mechanical factor
3. Thermal factor
4. Environmentalfactor received for 10n~-~eriod installation ,long use
These factors make low-voltage breaker deteriorate and exhaust the life. The open-shut
longevity of breaker cannot be depended on the used year alone. I t depends on the size of
energizing current ,the open-shut current ,the environment and the situation in use.
' Appropriate treatment should be done especially in a ship where is used under a hard
condition.
The content of troubles which can be forecaster due to deteriorated factor or deteriorated
phenomenon in low-voltage are shown to page 216,316. If these troubles are recognized, the
machine can be judged dead clearly. Even though the functions seem normally when you
don't use it for fill ratings ,there is a case that the basic performance might has been already
dead.
When you continue to use the dead low-voltage breaker,
1. Incapability of open-shut with abnormal rising temperature
2. Load equipment scorched
3. Power failure by sudden trip
4. Expansion of accident by over current due to inoperative removing
device
5. Incapability to operate

The declining operation rate due to breakdown can be avoided by taking suitable regular
maintenance as well as fuse.
(1) Caution
1. Please do not touch the condenser terminal directly.
2. Please do not be short - circuited by the conductor between the condenser
terminals.
3. Terminals may be broken or hurt the connection part of inside element when
strong power is added to the terminals or lead line.
4. Please do not use in a place where moisture and oil exist.
5. Please do not use in a place where ozone, ultraviolet ray, and radiation are
irradiated.
6. Please do not use in a place where such poisonous gas as sulfuretted hydrogen,
sub-sulfuric acid .sub-nitric acid ,chlorine, and ammonia permeate.
7. Please do not use in a place where excessive vibration or impact exist.

(2) Maintenance Check
Please turn off the power supply and discharge saved electricity in condenser when you do
the maintenance check. Please cob the polarity when you use a tester beforehand. In
addition ,please do not stress to the lead terminal line at t h s time.
equipment.
0 During transportation and installation of the portable version (to which suspention metal
fittings are not attached) carry the equipment in both hands and watch your step.
~' -3
. , 0 Before transportation and installation confirm that the open - close part of equipment is
0 After the insulation resistance is measured, before touching the terminal, make sure that
the measured, before touching the terminal, make sure that the measured terminal is
momentarily grounded, and once the electric charge has been removed, perform the
inspection.
0 Prior to resuming operation, make sure that no tools have been forgotten in the area, that
there are no loose screws, bolts or nuts, check for short circuiting and confirm safety of
equipment.
OWhen inspecting and doing maintenance of the equipment's inner parts always be sure to
wear insulated gloves.
0 Be careful not to jam fingers when opening and closing the door.
0 Sudden closing of the door, due to rolling and pitching, during inspection of the
equipment's inner parts has been known to occur. Please exercise caution.
OAlways use the proper tools when exchanging or inspecting parts (fuses, lamps, etc.)
0 Periodically confirm that no nuts, bolts, screws or other tightening parts have become
loose.
0 Alterations and repairs are only to be performed by the person who delivered the
equipment.
0 Do not touch the edge of print board (Part which insert in socket).
0 When you change the print board, please be sure to confirm the setting of DIP SWITCH.
0 Do not use the solution for revive a contact a t print board or connector, etc..
