The Project DSPT Billing Solution is the software that was developed for
BSNL for Billing and Accounting requirements of DSPT. DBS is a
complete billing solution for the BSNL’s DSPT. The solution include
configuring the VSAT data, configuration of customer master, mediation
with the switch, rating of CDR, billing the customers, post billing
activities, carrying out the accounting part and maintaining high level
system security and taking backup facility. Billing schedule can be
configured as per the monthly requirement of BSNL. Through this system
VSAT can be created, modify, delete and reallocate. DBS will communicate
via Op-Serv interface for creation / updation / deletion of VSAT on NMS.
Relevant reports can be taken from the software in various formats, which
can be sent over to screen, file, printer, and email and web browser.
