Story Of My Life
My parents lived in the same Barangay. My mother’s friend introduced my father to her.
And then, after a few months they started dating. My mother was a College student at that
time and my father was a government employee. After a year of being together, they found
out that my mother was pregnant. At the age of 25. My mother decided to stop her studies.
She was trying to abort me because she was scared that my grandparents would find out that
she was pregnant. She did everything just to abort me but I still managed to survive and just
chose to keep me alive. When I was three months old my father left me. For my entire 22
years of existence I haven’t experienced to have a father. To those people who don’t have any
father growing up , let this be an encouragement for you. It’s one of the worst feelings to
have no father with you growing up. I had no father with me when I was in Elementary, High
School and even College. Despite of what I’ve experienced, I’m still thankful and blessed for
having grandparents who raised me up as they could. I am very happy that I am surrounded
by loving people whom I trust and can lean on. And there’s something that I’ve learned from
that situation, despite of me being fatherless, there is someone who has been a good father to
me and He is God himself. He is the father that (who) loves me so much even though I had a
bad past, we can always be reminded that God is our loving and merciful father.
