How should you answer the question: Why do we want to be moral?

For me, we want to be moral for the acceptance of our society. Morally ethical person makes
you become a more effective person in socializing other people. Being morale individual indicates
having a high intellect and can make decisions in a right or good way. We want to be moral to gain
acceptance in the eyes of God. Making decisions in life that is right for you and to others makes you a
morally understandable person.

What does ethics means? How is it differentiated from morality?

Ethics is the is a practical science of the morality of human conduct. It is also the moral principle
that govern a person’s behavior. Ethics is based upon the decision of an individual and a more
subjective understanding of good and bad. Morality are the prevailing standards of behavior that
enable people to live cooperatively in groups. Morality is also the extent to which an action is right or
wrong. Although they are closely the same but they are slightly different in terms of applying their
concept. Ethics is the moral principle while morality simply the action of the ethics.

How is will differentiated from intellect?

Will is our capacity of making choices in our own way. Our own desires and wants. While
intellect is the the ability of a person to make decisions with its consequences abide. Intellect is your
capability of doing something but will is doing it with mind and heart with desperation and
inspiration.
