Previously I did not know "abstract terms.

" For me, they were common words that

helped me identify speci c topics. When researching the de nition of "abstract terms,"
I found:

"A name for an order, genus, or species of things with a combination of similar
qualities." Honestly, this de nition did not help me much. As he said, the same word
can belong to a completely abstract, subjective, and ambiguous term.

One of these "abstract terms" that most caught my attention is "art" since, over time,
there have been endless de nitions and arguments about this word. For many friends,
"art" should be respected, something that not everyone can handle and understand or
have an explanation for as such was something very complex. For many religious
groups, "art" is considered a "means of communication of ancestors that graphically
project important events. Today, it has changed to do something that satis es the
human hunger for the need for visual attention. "

For society, this is a very complex term that hardly anyone has been able to form and
create their criteria.

My rst contact with the Abstract Term "Art" was at the young age of 16, when I
discovered the world that surrounds "art." The rst de nition that I was able to
approach was that of Van Gogh, who believed that art is "the man added to nature."
And he continued by saying, "giving the mystery of life and how both (nature and
man) ) interact, a magically abstract and indecipherable solution, perhaps inde nable
strictly speaking." And I realized that many famous painters throughout history did not
have a clear de nition of what art is.

With the information, I collected through self-learning, reading,

I reached my conclusion and de nition:

"Art is an evolution of communication that man has had since the beginning of
humanity. Over the years, it has been forming as a discipline of a creative nature that
not only helps communicate what surrounds us and what happens through history. But
with the opening of public opinion, art has become one of the main channels of

ambiguous and purposeful expression," This for me means and symbolizes that I will
never establish a speci c de nition and my criteria that objectively describe what "art"
is.

My de nition of the term is often in con ict with what other people believe. I don't
blame people's criteria, but the fact that we are not all exposed to the same media
helps us create our de nitions. My de nition does not compare very well with that of
many people; In contrast, for some people, this term refers to the nal product that
someone who carries out this activity (the artist) arrives at; for me, it can mean the self-
development of this activity regardless of who or who does it.

My de nition is contrasted with others when values and principles are often involved,
since many other times, there are de nitions of this same term that go against my
beliefs, and I do not allow myself to be in uenced by them.

When my de nition con icts with the de nition of other people, I always try to remain
at the forefront and show myself rmly in my ideals since I have been cultivating them
for a long time; I avoid entering into verbal and intellectual con icts, and I always seek
to obtain the best of what that other people can contribute to my learning.
